Savannah Alumnae Association

The Delta Gamma Savannah Alumnae Association was established in 2009, after meeting for more than a decade as an informal Hope Group.

We're proud of the accomplishments we've made through the years:

Braille Plaques
Raised money to purchase 14 signs that identify plants and flowers in the Fragrant Garden in Forsyth Park

Talking iPads
Raised money to purchase five devices given to visually impaired individuals to increase their independence in daily activities

Textured Cards
Made 525 themed notes that were distributed to visually impaired elementary school students for Valentine’s Day, spring and Thanksgiving

Eyeglasses
Collected 2,054 pair for the Lions Club International

Box Tops for Education
Sent 2,166 tops to the Georgia Academy for the Blind in Macon and the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind in St. Augustine
